our mission
To promote community partnerships and collaborations in order to provide renovation and repair services to low income, elderly and disabled individuals and families.
Who We Are
Renovating 4 A Cause was founded by Bruce Grant in 2022 in Hampton Roads Virginia after he observe countless people in need of home repairs and greatly impacted by the Covid Pandemic. These repairs range from broken foundations to electrical problems. Realizing he did not have neither time or funds to make a real impact in this growing problem he banded together with his team of board members.
Renovating 4 A Cause holds several annual fundraising events that connect the community, business owners to much needed resources. Thanks to fundraisers and community donations we have been able to provide repair services to many low income and disabled individuals in need and with the continued help donors will can do much more.

Impact Stories
Jane WHO ALMOST LOST HER HOME
Jane recently lost her husband. After burying her husband and settling his final affairs Jane was contacted by the city who threatened to take her home. due faulty electrical equipment and a leaking roof that exposed the foundation to rapid deterioration. Renovating 4 A Cause was able to repair her home and get up to code free of cost with help from many donors.
Rob who fell on bad luck
Robert was injured on his job at the Newport News Ship Yard. He was unable to find unable find other employment due to his injuries. His home begin to seemingly fall apart. We connected with Rob through a church organization and was able to repair the foundation to his home and renovate his home to make it handicap accessible.
